Hello again,
Currently I am quite stressed out because we are not sure how we will get out of Quito and into Colombia, should we bus it? Should we take a flight? Do I wanna spend about 30 hours on a bus to get to Cartenga to wait up to a week to sail to Panama? Things would all be fine if we had more time, or perhaps started a trip in a different location. Poor planning I guess. We also are thinking of skipping Colombia and doing an Amazon Tour here and then flying into Panama. Possibility...It would give us more time, and less travelling, and possibly a better chance to meet Paige and Luke in a timely fashion.
Tomorrow we are going to Otavalo to the Saturday Market, and then we have four days to do the Quilolota Loop, a mix of some hiking and some driving. Lucky for me, Nellie is pretty decent at spanish, I did have a spanish lesson today, and then I remembered why I stopped taking french. We will try our luck on the bus, and hope it works out!
So far have some photos from the view points we did in the city, I will try to post some more photos once I have seen and done some more.
