What? There are trees in Saskatchewan!

Turns out my views of the wheat nations have been changed, and although I feel this song adequately represnts parts of Saskachewan, it does not represent the best parts! Click here!

Prince Albert was awesome. Granted, there are a number of factors that biased my opinion. One, we stayed with Amanda's Aunt and Uncle, who were insanely hospitable, I can not even describe. A slight insight would be that she hand made vegetarian burgers for us, along with LOADS of other food. Too Nice.

Two. We picked up a homeless boy named Calder. Since Calder made it to PA before us, he had a few days to walk around and camp, and was offered money at one point because someone thought he was poor. I would of taken the money. With his presence, our car ride became a wee bit tighter, but we have nicely rounded out to a group of 4.

Three. We got into leather belt making. This is Diana's which is outstanding, and you can tell that she is the artist in the group.

The leather store, Davinders, has quite the characters in it, including Davinder himself. In a wheelchair, decked out in a classic western ensamble and asking if we were skipping out on school. He said we looked like we were in grade 8. I have yet to meet a 13 year old boy with facial hair like Calders, but perhaps I am not looking hard enough.

We took off north from PA to Missinipi, which is where we ran parts of the Chruchill River. Diana's face, says it all.

We also discovered that as much we like to actual canoe trips...we can adapt nicely to car camping.

The weather was AMAZING. Hot and sunny, but the river was cold, as evident by the ice and snow creeping along the shores. Diana and I are the smart ones and avoided swimming as much as we could. The other two, are clearly insane.

Great times had by all in Saskatchewan! Next stop....Canmore Alberta!
